EcoVadis Silver for Sustainability

UK Soft services provider Churchill Group has been awarded a Silver medal by EcoVadis in recognition of its sustainable practices and policies.

EcoVadis, which is widely-acknowledged as one of the most comprehensive sustainability assessment tools, globally, evaluates and grades organisations across four key business functions or pillars of operation: environment; labour and human rights; ethics and sustainable procurement.

The independent assessment of Churchill by EcoVadis follows the soft service provider's introduction of a Sustainability Charter in 2019 that requires companies to commit to continual environmental impact reductions, employee wellbeing, benefiting communities they operate in and championing innovation.

Daniele Eigner, environmental sustainability manager for the Churchill Group, comments: "Achieving the EcoVadis silver status is an important step on our journey.

"Through the assessment process, we have been able to define a clear and externally verified baseline for our activities and are now able to set transparent and meaningful targets for the future.

We are proud of having taken this first significant step but there is more to do and we are excited to keep pushing towards our goals."
