Launch of Innovative Partition Range

QIC Trims has expanded its fit-out offering with the addition of customised solid and glazed partition systems.

The new solutions include single and doubled-glazed systems which, according to the company, are specifically designed to speed-up installation times without compromising on performance - with design and installation offered as a bespoke service tailored to the requirements of particular applications.

QIC Trims operates its own 38,000 SQF manufacturing facility in the town of Buckingham in South East England.

The new partition range includes System 25 Frameless Single-Glazed and System 68 Double-Glazed systems, which have been selected for their minimalist and sleek profile due to the use of dry-glazed, glass-to-glass joints. System 75 and System 100 offer the flexibility of a solid and glazed partition system, System 75 is a nominal 75mm (3') demountable partitioning system that provides both fire and acoustic performance. It is available in any combination of solid, fully-glazed or part-glazed elevations with a square wraparound profile. Comprising a galvanised steel stud framework with aluminium profiles and cover trims, it can be installed as single-centre, single-offset, double-glazed or faced with a single layer of 12.5mm thick gypsum plasterboard. The overall thickness of the system is 100mm or for the System 100 - 125mm, with all extruded aluminium profiles available polyester powder-coated to a range of colours Each system has been designed with the minimum of components, a feature which simplifies their installation and ensures a rapid, cost-effective application. For added detail and aesthetic appeal, the systems’ aluminium channel profiles can be integrated with aluminium doorframes for a sophisticated finish and almost limitless transition profiles.

Managing Director, Matt Woollam, comments: "We have been working on an increasing number of glass partition projects for our existing client base who know we have experience and expertise in that area.

"With the success of glass partition systems, our customers have demanded additional products for solid, glazed and transitions systems. By launching QIC Partitions, we’re leaving customers in no doubt as to what we can offer. We have the team in place, and believe this move will enable us to give our customers the very best service.

"With the inventive excellence of our design teams, and our sales staff guiding customers through all stages of the partition production process, we have a platform from which to deliver bespoke, QIC-quality partitions each and every time."
