EMCOR Awarded Place on UK Public Procurement Framework

EMCOR UK have been awarded a place on Fusion21's new £1.1 billion Workplace & Facilities Framework of prequalified suppliers, creating opportunities worth up to £750 million.

Launched as a procurement mechanism and dynamic purchasing systems for property, construction and the built environment, Fusion21 works with a host of public sector organisations in the blue light, central government, education, health, housing and local authority sectors.

The facility services provider will join three lots, including: Lot 1- FM principal contractor; Lot 2 – FM managing agent and Lot 6 – building engineering services (M&E). Lots 1 and 2 allow the appointment of a service provider to deliver multiple services - bundled or TFM - incorporating elements of physical asset management and service management. Lot 6 involves the installation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and building fabric, including emergency response, lifecycle works and planned upgrades.

Jeremy Campbell, Executive Director for Marketing and Business Development, comments: "This is a fantastic opportunity for EMCOR UK and recognises our expertise in workplace and facilities management services as well as our commitment to delivering social value.

"We are delighted to be part of a framework which will provide a flexible and efficient procurement solution for Fusion21 members to help save money and generate social value."

Peter Francis, Director of Operations at Fusion21, adds: "The new framework will provide a range of FM solutions to Fusion21 members, whilst giving them access to qualified and experienced staff with particular experience of facilities management."

Mark Chadwick, Director of Business Services with the procurement framework provider, says: "We are delighted to welcome all of the new suppliers onto the framework, including EMCOR UK. The tender process was highly competitive and the process has identified the best suppliers for our members to use. A further, real benefit to our members and their communities is the social value delivery that is aligned to organisational priorities and can be monitored and reported against for all call offs."
