Cleaning & Waste Management, Supplier News, United States

Ecolab has announced payment of a cash dividend of US $0.48 to holders of its ordinary shares.

The payment, which will be made to shareholders who are on record at the close of business on 16 March 2021 continues the company's record of paying cash dividends on its common stock for the last 84 consecutive years

On 16th February shares in the global provider of water, hygiene, and energy technologies and services fell by 4.1 per cent after Ecolab undershot analysts' revenue forecasts for the final quarter of 2020, with a a company spokesperson attributing an adjusted earnings-per-share decrease to "COVID-19 related volume declines, unfavorable business mix, and investments in the business which together more than offset cost savings, favorable pricing and lower variable compensation."
