Helping Repopulate Offices and Buildings
The solution which detects high body temperature is capable of scanning 30 people per second and will indicate those who are at higher risk of Covid-19 infection.
It utilises "traffic light" indicators which go from green to red to either allow building users to proceed past the entry point or redirect them to a quarantine area where facility and security personnel can take further action.
With Covid-19 infection accelerating globally, offices and building, together with conference venues and similar facilities where there is sizeable footfall traffic, need assurances that the risk of infection in crowd management can be completely minimised and controlled.
Punna comments: "The facial recognition and thermal imaging system can detect people’s temperature, the presence of a face mask and social distancing as they walk past the scanning technology within a range field depth of 9 metres.
"Containment through an attendance and access system with zero contact and temperature measurement can be a key to avoiding easy spread of the virus that can take place with a biometric access system."
