ServiceMaster Continues European Acquisition Spree

EMEA, Americas, Environmental Management, Service Provider News, Mergers & Acquisitions

ServiceMaster has acquired Dublin-based technology led pest control startup Pest Pulse less than a month after its US $200 million acquisition of Nomor Holding AB, Europe's fourth-largest pest control company.

Pest Pulse uses hardware as well as software to deliver 24/7 pest management to customers utilising sensor technology that alerts customers and company technicians when a trap is triggered.

The company has marketed itself to facilities managers as the "ideal fit" for customers seeking a modern alternative to reactive, manual pest management.

Brian Monaghan, CEO of Pest Pulse, says Pest Pulse will join ServiceMaster in its mission to inspire long-term growth through innovation at every level, before adding:

"Working with ServiceMaster and its brand, Terminix, over the past year has convinced us they share our vision for innovation.

"With our technical expertise and their position as a market leader, we are incredibly excited about the speed at which we will bring the inevitable future of pest control to customers across Europe, the United States, and beyond."
