Launch of World's Largest Ondemand Tankless Water Heater

Company News, Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning (HVAC), Americas

Intellihot Inc., have launched the iQ3001 (the largest and most powerful on-demand tankless water heater in the world) at AHR Expo 2018 in Chicago.

The company will be showcasing the product alongside their telliZero remote monitoring, predictive analytics service, at booth #3149 from January 22-24th.

With a capacity of over 3,000 MBH, 3 million BTU/hr, 4,400 GPH, and the industry’s leading 100:1 turndown ratio, the compact (33” wide) iQ3001 is able to provide endless hot water for even the largest commercial applications. While occupying 80 per cent less valuable floor space than traditional systems, the iQ3001 is optimal for hotels, multi-family residential buildings, correctional facilities and hospitals. Intellihot’s units virtually eliminate waste and environmental impact, conserving up to 40 per cent more energy and reducing carbon footprint by lowering greenhouse emissions by 37 per cent.

The increased capabilities and capacities of the iQ3001 enable large commercial properties to eliminate multiple unnecessary pieces of equipment such as storage tanks and large boilers which eradicates the risk of Legionella and significantly saves on installation costs, operating expenses and capital expenditures. In addition to cost-savings, the new smart tankless water heater’s monitoring and analytics capabilities allow for greater control over operational efficiency.

“Our systems are designed for extraordinary performance, ease of use, and ROI,” said Sri Deivasigamani, CEO of Intellihot. “Our modular water heating technology paired with telliZero will fundamentally change how you heat water and service your equipment. With 24/7 remote monitoring, predictive maintenance and proactive shipment of wear parts, we’re proud to be helping our customers achieve 99.99 per cent uptime and unprecedented customer satisfaction all while reducing their cost remarkably.”

The iQ3001, like all of Intellihot’s ASME-rated signature iQ Series and iSeries commercial tankless water heaters, has built-in modularity within each unit, and multiple units can be cascaded for increased capacity. Each module has enough internal intelligence to perform independently, and the company’s patented “Masterless Controls” eliminate single-point failures. This system ensures reliability, zero downtime and continuous hot water. Intellihot’s  iQ series comes with a 10-year non-prorated warranty, two years of free factory monitoring, 100 percent free parts coverage, and the predictive (parts wear) analytics service, telliZero. Remote access and real-time monitoring of usage data, troubleshooting info and longevity of parts is made possible with the built-in Wi-Fi and telliZero app connectivity. The telliZero app is available now in the App Store.

The iQ3001 will be available in Fall 2018. To learn more about Intellihot Green Technologies, visit
