Vega Europe are extremely proud to announce that the Tio Service Delivery Intelligence has been shortlisted for the ‘Technology for Smart Buildings’ category at the InAVation Awards.

After collecting the Entertainment Award for Innovation at the Install Awards and having  been shortlisted for the prestigious AVAwards earlier this year, we’re thrilled to watch Tio continue its trailblazing run in 2016.

We’ll be in Amsterdam where we will be showcasing Tio to visitors at ISE on stand 5-S80.

The InAVation Awards results will be announced on the first evening, Tuesday 7th February.

Voting will open on Monday 21st November and will be decided by the industry itself.

About Tio

Developed in partnership with a leading Private Bank and Wealth Management Company in London, the Tio system eliminates the need for a catering representative to be present at the start of a meeting to write down guest requests-also eliminating mistakes and speeding up delivery which is made directly from the kitchen.

How the System Works

Each meeting or conference room is equipped with an iPad mini which provides a familiar and intuitive interface that displays menu options for drinks, snacks and other refreshments.

Attendees and delegates are then able to simply enter their choice of beverage and add their preferences; with orderd being sent directly to an administrator touch screen panel situated in the kitchen. The kitchen team are notified by an audible and visible alert that a new order has arrived and the immediately acknowledge its receipt by return.

A display in the kitchen area shows any orders which are being awaited  throughout a building - with each delivered within a set period agreed by the management team.
