24/7 Venue Booking Online

NFS Technology Group today announces the launch of the Rendezvous Portal, a step-change in booking that will allow venues to offer the kind of easy booking that has already transformed the world of hotel reservations.

Luis De Souza, CEO of NFS Technology Group, said: “More than 50% of hotel bookings are now made online. Hotels take advantage of this through services such as, but up until now venues have lacked the tools to offer customers this facility.”

So NFS – an international provides of software and services to the facilities and hospitality industries - has launched Rendezvous Portal.

It allows venues to present selected spaces available for rent, without customers having to view the inventory of larger spaces.

Benefits include:

  • 24/7 booking capability

  • Booking of spaces as well as catering and AV on line

  • Managing rates and yields

  • Online payment at the time of booking.

Luis said: “Clients can find the available space they need and book and pay for it online, directly from the venue website, any time of night or day.

“They can book services they need, such as catering or AV, in the same transaction.

“This streamlined process is hugely convenient, encouraging regular customers to return and helping venues attract more bookings for their small spaces and for late meetings.”

Customers are also able to book a room and enquire about another at the same time.

Luis said: “For instance, if I need a small bookable space for a meeting of five people I can book it straight away – and put in a request for a larger space for 25 people so I have a combination of space.”

The easy-to-use Portal also boosts productivity, releasing valuable event and management staff from the time-consuming task of taking bookings.

It helps with rates and yield management, because the venue can control rates and availability for the online market, making special offers where required.

The portal will also be valuable to venues to grow their share of the late meeting and small meeting segments, which is now dominated by office space providers.

“We’re confident venues using the Rendezvous Portal will boost business by streamlining their booking process for small spaces and late meetings, and delivering a great customer experience,” said Luis.
