Plus Relocation, an established provider of global relocation services, has announced the opening of its expanded European headquarters in London and appointment of Des McKell as director of business development.

Plus Relocation, an established provider of global relocation services, has today announced the opening of its expanded European headquarters in London.  This development is in response to rising demand from companies around the world who are relocating employees into and out of Europe and looking for high quality, personalised service.  Des McKell, with over 20 years of experience in global relocation service provision, has been appointed director of business development to spearhead Plus Relocation’s expansion in Europe.

Plus Relocation moves 8,000 relocating employees each year to more than 175 worldwide destinations.  Managing global relocation programmes can be costly to an organisation, but with more than 40 years in the industry Plus Relocation knows how to deliver smart, cost-effective programmes globally.  Relocating can be a challenging time, and each employee has a unique set of requirements.  Plus Relocation recognises this, and its clients – who include Dropbox, Salesforce, Twitter and Yelp – consistently rate the services they receive from Plus Relocation as exceptional.

Des McKell joins Plus Relocation from Cartus, where he headed up EMEA business development for the past five years, and he is excited by his new role.  “You can see from the impressive client base it has, that Plus Relocation is delivering something special.  The way it is combining people, relocation consulting services and technology is completely new in this market.  I am delighted to be part of the journey now as Plus Relocation expands in Europe to support the unprecedented demand for its unique offering.  The culture of the company is truly inspiring, very agile and built around delivering a superb service to the client,” said Des McKell.

Plus Relocation delivers EMEA mobility programmes using its EloSM technology platform. Elo solutions have been developed by Plus Relocation in partnership with Salesforce, to deliver new data-driven decision capabilities to the people involved in every element of the global relocation process.

Susan Schneider, president of Plus Relocation added: “We have been operating in Europe for many years now, but increasingly we are seeing more demand for our approach and our technology in this market. Blending high-touch service with our high-tech Elo platform is helping our customers to manage increasing numbers of relocating employees. We are proud to be of service to our clients around the world, and building a strong local team in Europe reinforces our commitment to them all.”
