Conference  Signals Growth in Mission Critical Facilities Management.

November 6, 2013 – Milwaukee and Charlotte, N.C. – The management team behind Critical Facilities Summit Conference & Expo, a national event dedicated to data center and mission critical environments training, has announced a total attendance of 521 for the 2013 show. Critical Facilities Summit was held at the Charlotte, N.C. Convention Center October 21-23.

“The importance of the Critical Facilities Summit to mission critical facilities professionals can’t be understated, “ said Todd Kotlarek, Director of Events for Trade Press Media Group, a partner/owner of the event. “We’re filling a void in the market where professionals are in need of quality education and networking opportunities that fill the gap between I.T. and facilities management in relation to data center operations and mission critical environments.”

The sold-out exhibit hall featured 80 suppliers showcasing trending products and solutions. Data center and mission critical facilities professionals benefited from a customizable educational curriculum covering topics such as Designing & Building Mission Critical; Operations & Maintenance Strategies; High Efficiency Initiatives & Opportunities; Best Practices in the Critical Facilities World.

"This was a great event for us, added Robert Schmidt of Future Facilities. "It's a 'who's who' of data center facilities management professionals. The conferees were high caliber — truly upper-level mission critical decision makers. Our team enjoyed many in-depth, beneficial conversations on the show floor and participating in the break-out sessions. We are looking forward to the 2014 summit."

At press time, 40 percent of the 2014 exhibit hall is already sold out and the hall has been expanded by 20 percent to accommodate growing supplier demand.

“Our community of mission critical facilities management professionals is tasked with maintaining uptime, optimizing building efficiency, supporting capacity expansion, leading green initiatives and much more. There's a lot on our collective plate.” said Chris Wade, president of Resilient Mission Critical Solutions and speaker at the event. “We needed an event like this for us to gather, learn and share experiences. I’m already looking forward to next year.”

Critical Facilities Summit 2014 will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center, October 27-29. For more information, visit
