BSH to be the only UK provider of 'MyVerdafero’ utility optimisation software in the UK.

Northern Ireland heating engineering company, BS Holdings, has announced an exciting new reseller partnership with San Francisco’s Verdafero Inc., a Sustainability-as-a-Service software and services provider.  The new trans-Atlantic partnership makes BSH the only provider of Verdafero’s ‘MyVerdafero’ software in the UK.  The partnership, which will enable both companies to grow their export businesses, will also result in the unique MyVerdafero software gaining popularity in the UK and Ireland.

MyVerdafero is a utility optimisation software platform which enables industrial users to track, analyse, and report on all utility expenses for their businesses.  The software examines not only energy but also water, waste, fuel oil, and wood pellet fuels across multiple locations and facilities, making it a highly advantageous tool for facilities managers in charge of overseeing multiple sites and allowing businesses to compare the performance of all buildings within their portfolio, compare usage and costs by benchmarked times with weather normalization, and – most importantly – report a company’s carbon footprint in real-time.

"The addition of the comprehensive MyVerdafero platform and its carbon reporting capabilities is a great enhancement to BSH full service offering,” says Eddie Allen, General Manager.

“Our corporate clients, including some of the major world-wide brands, now have the tools at their fingertips to track, analyze, and report their utility usage and carbon footprint across their portfolio of facilities on a real-time basis, all at the touch of a button rather than trying to piece information together via spreadsheets and paper bills. This is important to our clients for local and regional governmental carbon reporting due to start in 2015.”

He continues, “We are very proud to have partnered with Verdafero and have the unique ability to offer our corporate customers a full service offering from design, installation, maintenance and now tracking, analysis and reporting on not just energy but all overhead utility expenses."

Dr Alastair Hood of Verdafero added, "Facility managers and corporate customers do not always have the time and resources necessary to analyse large amounts of data on spreadsheets and paper. Now, having the ability to track, analyze, and report how a facility or multiple facilities across a large geographic area uses not just energy, but all overhead utility expenses, is of vital importance for profitability and the environment."
