Emerald Brand donates $5,000 in eco-friendly supplies to victims of Oklahoma Tornadoes
Green office and home product manufacturer helps victims through donation of eco friendly emergency supplies.
In response to the multiple tornadoes that have struck the Oklahoma City Region in past weeks, Emerald Brand, a leader in environmentally-friendly office, break room and disposable products for the home and business, has donated $5,000 of emergency supplies to the Oklahoma Red Cross to support humanitarian assistance and recovery efforts.
Emerald Brand items were shipped to a local TV station in Oklahoma City for distribution to victims of the recent tornadoes that ripped through the area. Items to be distributed include cutlery, disposable plates and bowls, facial tissues, and paper towels manufactured from Bagasse (a derivative of sugar cane); in addition to gloves, wipes, garbage liners and disinfectant sprays.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those impacted by this horrific tragedy," said CEO, Ralph Bianculli. "For now, we have collected supplies we feel can be of most need for victims and distributed them through local sources in Oklahoma. We stand ready to help in any way possible."
