Stuttgart to attend Cannes International Real Estate Fair 2013

MIPIM 2013 – Representation of Stuttgart at Trade Fair: Stuttgart: "Dynamic. Innovative. Sustainable."

In 2013 Stuttgart will be present once again at the International Real Estate Fair (MIPIM) in Cannes – from 12 to 15 March. Fritz Kuhn, Lord Mayor of Stuttgart, the State Capital of Baden-Württemberg, will open the joint stand in person on 12 March. Fourteen partner organisations from the metropolitan region will be attending the trade fair under the motto “Dynamic. Innovative. Sustainable.” The initiators are the Economic Development Department of the City of Stuttgart and IWS Immobilienwirtschaft Stuttgart e.V.

“I want a diverse, urban state capital. That is why my work programme focuses on sustainable urban development,” says the new Lord Mayor of Stuttgart, Fritz Kuhn. “In Stuttgart renowned experts from the fields of science and business are already exploring innovative technologies, with particular emphasis on sustainable mobility, ecological construction and environmental engineering. This is the very point where we need to start and to promote clusters.” Stuttgart will become even more family-friendly. “The demand for housing is huge. Those looking for a home in Stuttgart are to be able to find something affordable in an attractive environment. I want to make a significant impact together with the municipal council, administration and investors,” says Kuhn.

The state capital is presenting itself together with 14 partners from the region. The 100 m² stand also offers a 40 m² terrace, which will be used for programme items and discussions.
As in previous years, the lecture programme will attract many visitors to the Stuttgart stand. In addition to Lord Mayor Kuhn, other high-ranking representatives from politics, business and science will speak on the merits of Stuttgart as a property location.

The innovative capacity of Stuttgart as a property location will also be demonstrated by the numerous projects being undertaken by the partners involved. The following companies will be represented at the trade fair stand: aurelis Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG, Bayerische Hausbau GmbH & Co. The joint trade fair appearance of IWS and the City of Stuttgart will once again be supported by the website www.mipim-stuttgart.de, which already provides information about the undertaking.
