Panasonic VP Inspects Hotel Installation

Company News, Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning (HVAC)

TSS Facilities and The Grand Brighton were proud to recently welcome a prestigious guest from Japan at Brighton’s iconic seafront hotel.

Toshiyuki Takagi-San, Senior Vice President of Appliances at Panasonic, visited the hotel on special request last Saturday to view TSS's installation of Panasonic’s new innovative air handling units there. The visit, which was specifically requested by Mr Takagi, was the only site inspection undertaken by the VP during his visit to the UK.

The new highly energy-efficient condensers have been installed by TSS Facilities to control the humidity and air quality of the landmark hotel's 201 rooms and suites. Treated for anti-corrosion, they guarantee durability in coastal locations, where sea air can cause salt damage to the units.

“We’re very impressed with the hotel, and we are interested to learn about the large capacity installation and operation,” said Mr Takagi. “It is rewarding to see the products we make installed professionally. They are making a considerable difference to help reduce running costs and lower energy consumption.”

“We are proud to have been recognised as approved installers of Panasonic equipment for many years,” added Steve Gray, General Manager at TSS. “The combination of reliability, efficiency and the most advanced technology in Panasonic’s products means that we are always happy to specify their technology in new installations and refurbishments.”

“It was an honour and a privilege to be able to host such an esteemed guest in such a magnificent setting,” commented Andy Tugwell, Managing Director of TSS Facilities.
