Alex Brothwood has recently joined Lumicom, The Lighting Industry Association’s (LIA) EEE Producer Compliance Scheme and will assume responsibility for supporting its operational activities.

Alex joins Lumicom from the LIA Labs, where he was a Laboratory Engineer. Here he gained his extensive understanding of the lighting industry and its sometimes complex technical aspects.

This along with previous project management experience at ABB, provides the optimum skill base to assist in the continual growth of Lumicom for its customers and the wider lighting industry.

Alex is your contact for everything about the disposal of your WEEE and is here to provide you with the most appropriate and cost effective solution. This includes B2B and B2C non-street light collections, supporting onsite contractors in retail swap outs and collections where the location/access may have restrictions.

Supporting third party collections, Alex ensures a seamless provision of service and provides project management support for Lumicom retail and commercial roll outs.

Working as part of the Lumicom team, Alex also assess new processors and assists with audits, essentially getting closer to the complete recycling process and supporting the development of new waste management contracts.
