ISS Sweden has delivered ticketing service to SL, Stockholm’s public transport, since 2013, and has now won a public tender to continue to manage and develop ticket control.

7-Year Storstockholms Lokaltrafik Contract for ISS Sweden0 comments
The 7-year contract with Storstockholms Lokaltrafik has a total value of more than SEK 300 million and covers ticket control as well as support and service to travelers across all of SL’s services – i.e. metros, busses, rail and trams.
Gary Kidd, CEO ISS Sweden, says:
“It is great to look forward to a 7-year collaboration which will enable us to strengthen our relationship with SL and develop our already well-functioning partnership even further.”
Under the new contract, SL and ISS will double the number of ticket controls to more than 5 million ticket controls annually. The ticket controls will take place at all the transport services offered by SL and during all hours of the day. Every day nearly 800,000 people travel by public transportation in the Stockholm area.
Kidd also adds:
“It is gratifying that we can continue our cooperation with SL to manage and further develop ticket controls. It is a complex service assignment, where our employees are already doing a great job.”
The new contract will commence 1 January 2019.
Through the agreement, ISS Sweden strengthens its position within the transport segment. In 2016, ISS Sweden had a revenue of approximately DKK 3.5 billion, totaling 4% of the Group revenue, and a staff of 7,994 employees.
