The LIA are proud to announce that Tamlite Lighting have become the latest Ambassador of the Lighting Industry Academy.


As one of the UK's leading manufacturers and designers of lighting, Tamlite Lighting has a proud legacy of fifty years and counting.


The company continues to be at the forefront of cutting-edge lighting technology, investing over £4m in product research and development within the last three years.


Tamlite supplies quality products of British design into world markets as far afield and diverse as the Middle East, Africa, the Far East, North America and the European mainland.


The company is both proud and committed to its British roots. Employing over 300 people in the Midlands, it continues to make significant contributions to the local economy and the lighting industry. Qualities such as these make Tamlite perfect Ambassador material.

The Lighting Industry Association (The LIA) is Europe’s largest Lighting Trade Association with a simple mission: "To strengthen the industry and promote the benefits of good quality lighting by representing all aspects of UK, EU and international legislation and standards at the highest level whilst protecting the interests of both the public and Members". The LIA was formed in January 2012 from the merger of The Lighting Industry Federation and The Lighting Association which brought together 175 years of experience in representing the industry.
