QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS), one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing providers of data center facilities and cloud services and a leader in security and compliance, announced today that its services are now available via Carahsoft Technology Corporation's GSA Schedule 70 Contract No. GS-35F-0119Y. In addition to carrying QTS' solutions on its GSA Schedule, Carahsoft, the trusted government IT solutions provider, will support QTS-authorized resellers and sales teams to drive demand within the federal government and state and local agencies.

Under the GSA Schedule, QTS will provide an array of services known as the QTS 3Cs - custom data center (C1), colocation (C2), and cloud and managed services (C3).  Highlighted in these offerings is QTS' FedRAMP-compliant Federal Cloud that provides a self-managed interface that allows government technologists to control all aspects of their virtual data center while QTS manages and monitors the cloud-based infrastructure.

"We are honored to be a trusted vendor for government agencies," said John Lind, Vice President Federal Solutions Group – QTS. "The QTS Federal Cloud is specifically designed to meet the needs of federal agencies and departments, and the GSA Schedule 70 contract now makes it easy for those agencies to purchase our services and comply with federal standards."

The GSA Information Technology Schedule 70, commonly referred to as the IT Schedule or Schedule 70, is a contract obtained by companies to sell IT products and services to the U.S. government. The GSA carefully evaluates a company's proficiency and suitability for providing products and/or services to the federal government. It is the largest, most widely used acquisition vehicle in the federal government and provides direct access to products, services, and solutions from more than 5,000 certified industry partners.

"QTS' data center facilities and cloud services are the perfect complement to our cloud solutions portfolio," said John J. Lee, Vice President of Cloud Solutions - Carahsoft. "We look forward to making the company's services available to the government market and our extensive ecosystem of reseller partners."
