Pioneering Cloud-based Health and Safety Software
Company News, Facilities Management, EMEA
Tim Chadwick has drawn on 20 years of facilities management (FM) experience to develop and launch CRAMS, a cloud-based application for managing mandatory health and safety compliance and governance requirements relating to customer premises.
“Managing Health and Safety effectively is always challenging; particularly with the vast numbers of employees in the FM sector and the constant need for induction and competency training for new starters", he says. "CRAMS allow employees’ competencies to be evaluated immediately, based on the risk assessment which has been specifically applied to the job position. The employee is then automatically enrolled on the relevant eLearning course where the competency deficiency has been identified.
"Specifically, it can be utilised in the Hard and Soft services area, with hard services holding the highest potential for serious injury due to the types of work that the employees are involved in. This can also be implemented for soft services, even for positions such as mailroom employees or catering departments, no matter the area of work there is always risks that must be mitigated or controlled”.
